AZULIL SEE THE LIGHT AT THE CROSSING OF A KEEN FRIENDSHIP AND A SHARED INTEREST FOR TRADITIONAL PRINTING TECHNIQUES. THEY EMBODY A DREAM OF HYBRID PUBLICATIONS, MIXING GENRES AND GENDERS.
WHETHER IT IS ABOUT PRINTS, BOOKS, POSTERS, WORDS, MUSIC, EACH PRODUCTION PUTS A LINKING CONNECTION AT THE HEART OF THE CREATION PROCESS. THE FINAL REALIZATION IS A TERRITORY OF JUXTAPOSITION, A LINK WOVEN OF MULTIPLE FORMS, THE VECTOR OF A SHARED EMOTION.
WHO ARE WE?
We are Mathilde Busch and Esther Szac, two young editors united by a complicit friendship.
Mathilde is artist and lithographer, and Esther Szac, graphic designer and typographer.
Two cardinal points guide our choices: meeting and traditional printing techniques.
OUR FIRST PROJECT:
PEAU DE PIERRE
We are only at the first project of the publishing house, but this one is already multiple. Eleven artists gathered around their main activity, tattooing, in order to compose a collection of prints, an exhibition, and to publish a small object accessible to all!
